Reservations Sales Training

 

Since implementing our Reservation Sales Training two ski seasons ago, we have seen tremendous improvement in not only our overall revenues but also the level of service that our guests have now come to expect from Crested Butte Vacations. With the help of Hannah Marketing Group, our strategy has grown to one that encourages our vacation specialists to be advisors in the sale and not just order takers. We now have specific criteria to not only train but also evaluate our Agents. This criteria has rolled in to a blended incentive plan where a team and individual incentive are available for all staff. The Hannah Marketing Group team has a great way of connecting with our staff which has made a huge impact to achieving our goals. We are looking forward to an even more successful ski season this year with their continued support.

A modest increase in either the conversion rate of incoming calls into reservations or in room rates has a significant impact on a property's revenues and profits. Too often treated as "order takers", Reservations Sales Associates are critical members of a property's sales team since they are the ones that convert the transient demand into revenue.

To provide the best possible sales skills training to the Reservation Sales Associates, Hannah Marketing not only customizes the training to reflect the composition and needs of the staff, but utilizes a combination of classroom training and substantial one-on-one training with the Sales Associates and the Reservations Manager.
