Bill has 35 years in the Travel and Hospitality industries, starting in the airline business and spending many years in the cruise industry. Bill is one of the pioneers in the rise of the cruise business from an obscure, outdated travel/hospitality concept to today’s all-inclusive and highly regarded vacation offering for people of all age groups.
Job titles have included Director, Vice President and Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales. Bill has been an independent consultant to the cruise industry for a long period of time on a wide variety of issues. He has been part of the startup team of three brand new cruise concepts and cruise lines. Bill is the original head of Marketing and Sales of both Windstar Cruises and Silversea Cruises, two very fine, upscale products in the cruise industry today. He was head of Marketing/Sales for many years at a predecessor to today’s Princess Cruises. Marketing Research activities have included both custom and syndicated studies, some of which have been worldwide in nature. Bill has had extensive involvement in Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, Mexico, Alaska and the South Pacific.
